iMac G5
iMac G5 infoIntroduced August 2004 the redesigned iMac G5 came in either 17" or 20" LCD widescreen displays, 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz PowerPC G5 processors, 80GB or 160GB hard drives, & up  to 2GB of RAM.
The following years iMac G5 was upgraded to include iSight above the display, 1.8GHz, 1.9GHz, 2.0GHz, & 2.1GHz processors, 160GB or 250GB hard drives, and up to 2.5GB RAM.

Unfortunately some of these models are known for their overheating malfunctions most attributed to bad capacitors, resulting in motherboard and power supply damage,
sometimes called "burnt out" logic boards, or "smoked" power supplies.

GALAXY has repair and replacement part options for either of these issues, as well as for any other problems you may be experiencing, please select from the following categories.
