In May 2006, Apple introduced the first generation black or white MacBook computer. A unibody aluminum MacBook was subsequently introduced in October 2008. Then in October 2009, a unibody polycarbonate MacBook was introduced.
For the moment we have only listed repair pricing for MacBook logic boards . Alternative purchase options will be added shortly, until then if you wish to purchase a new, or refurbished board please call or send us an email with your request. The first step in the repair process is to obtain an RMA number.
To identify your MacBook:
If your MacBook has an aluminum case, order part number LOGIC-56451-F.
If your MacBook case is White or Black, and you can turn it on choose ‘About This Mac’ from the Apple Menu. The resulting window will show your computer's processor: ‘Core Duo’ or ‘Core 2 Duo’ - order accordingly.
If you cannot turn on the MacBook, remove the battery - the computer's serial number is printed inside the battery compartment. Next, enter your serial number in the field supplied by Apple here. Determine whether you have a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo Processor, click on your browser’s back button to return to GALAXY and order accordingly. |
