Main Logic Boards

In May 2006, Apple introduced the first generation black or white MacBook computer. A unibody aluminum MacBook was subsequently introduced in October 2008. Then in October 2009, a unibody polycarbonate MacBook was introduced.

For the moment we have only listed repair pricing for MacBook logic boards . Alternative purchase options will be added shortly, until then if you wish to purchase a new, or refurbished board please call or send us an email with your request. We have in stock availability on all MacBook logic boards.

The first step in the repair process is to obtain an RMA number.

To identify your MacBook:
If your MacBook has an aluminum case, order part number LOGIC-56451-F.

If your MacBook case is White or Black, and you can turn it on choose ‘About This Mac’ from the Apple Menu. The resulting window will show your computer's processor: ‘Core Duo’ or ‘Core 2 Duo’ - order accordingly.

If you cannot turn on the MacBook, remove the battery - the computer's serial number is printed inside the battery compartment. Next, enter your serial number in the field supplied by Apple here. Determine whether you have a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo Processor, click on your browser’s back button to return to GALAXY and order accordingly.
