 Apple introduced the MacBook Pro in January 2006. Display choices were either 15 or 17 inch, the body was made of a lightweight aluminum alloy, and the first generation (Model Nos: A1151, A1150 & A1175) were populated with an Intel Core Duo processor. This was upgraded in October 2006 to an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. In January 2009 a new aluminum unibody case was introduced and in mid-2009 a 13in display option was added to the line-up.
