You will find one of three numbers: A1181 (original design initially with white or black case option; white only on newer models); A1278 (aluminum, unibody case); or, A1342 (white, unibody case, Late 2009 and later models). To find the correct part for your computer all you have to do is match the case model number from your MacBook to its corresponding listing in the Part ID column below.
