15-inch MacBook Pro (Retina) - Liquid Spill REPAIR/Recondition
SKU No:  SYSTM-57910-F
Service Description:
This service covers the repair/reconditioning of your liquid-damaged 15-in MacBook Pro (Retina) computer1. The flat-rate charge for this service is inclusive of all labor and the repair or replacement of the computer's damaged parts: logic boards (including mag-safe, wi-fi/bluetooth), screen, internal cables, speakers, fans, connectors, keyboard/trackpad and other misc. internal parts 2.

1 A list of 15-in MacBook Pro (Retina) models that are compatible with this service is posted below.
2 NOT included in the price: RAM, hard drives (SSD's/flash drives), battery and external devices/cables. All of these parts (and associated upgrade options) are available for separate purchase.
What's Included?
  1. Diagnosis & Cleaning:
The only way to properly clean liquid-damaged electronic equipment is by immersing it in an industry-standard chemical solution and then using high-powered ultrasound technology to eradicate all contaminates.1
  2. Component Level Repair:
We do this first by identifying faulty/failed components using a high-powered microscope. Next specialized soldering equipment and industry-standard chemical compounds are used to remove the defective parts and replace them with new Apple OEM parts.
  3. Rebuild & Test:
Finally the computer is reassembled and thoroughly tested before being returned to you with a comprehensive six month warranty.
1 Without professional ultrasonic cleaning - which halts the corrosive action of coffee, tea, sodas, alcohol, etc - chemical residue will continue to eat away at electronic components leading to their degradation and ultimate failure. Where moderate to severe spills are concerned manual cleaning is no more than a band-aid.
