This is a brand new replacement front bezel and glass panel assembly - it is the outer glass panel that covers and protects the LED screen. Install this part if your screen (glass) is cracked but the screen itself is still visible. More often than not this part is all that you need to repair your MacBook display, but Apple does not sell just the replacement glass. So if your screen is cracked Apple's solution is to sell you an entire Display unit which is expensive and wasteful. Why waste money and resources? Instead replace your cracked screen with our brand new front bezel and glass panel assembly. Once this part is installed you will have the same quality and look as the original Apple glass cover.
